Yesterday afternoon we held our annual Grandparents' Day and Music Concert. The boys love these events here they are able to involve their Grandparents. We had a terrific attendance- it was hard to fit everyone into the room.
The boys played a couple of maths games with the Grandparents and then we were able to some of the PowerPoint presentations the boys have put together on the Rugby World Cup. I will try to get them up on to the blog over the holidays. Last time, it took ages as I had to deal to each one independently. Hopefully, it won't be quite such challenge this time.
Following afternoon tea, we all went over to the gym for the music concert. It never ceases to amaze me that there is so much talent amongst the boys. There were tremendous performances at all levels.
Here are some photos I took during the concert.
The almost full gym.
Boom and Josh playing their duet on the piano.
The Junior Choir
Boom and Rourke in the front row.
Boom leaves us at the end of the week to return to Thailand. We will miss him. He has been a super boy to have in our class.Good luck for the future, Boom.
Catch you all later.
Cheers
Barry
